I could put red on it but it wouldn't look right. When i got it it was yellow and white. So i want to keep it that color.

Ok so i found the yellow paint i need. I found it on amazon now i just need to order it. I think im going to order 10 cans of yellow do you guys thing thats enough?

I found a wiring diagram for my tractor

I put the frame up on the table so i can paint it easier.

Since i need yellow paint to continue my build i decided to start working on the engine instead of sitting around waiting until i can order the paint.

Depends on the paint and coverage, but it would suck to order to little   

Yea it would so i would rather order to much and i used about 8 cans of primer and still have to do the fenders. and it will take 2 to do the fenders. So i figured it would take as many cans of yellow as primer so i thought i would just get 10.

And it stinks that the yellow paint takes 24 hours to dry. Maybe ill get lucky and it will dry faster

So you can't get it in quart tins? and brush it on   I had to do that on my JD mower deck i restored. Usually bad covering on yellow also, so you better get a light primer color.

Does it look good when you brush it on. And that will take awhile so i thought spray cans would be faster.

Yeah looks like any normal paint job, if you do it right. But it can't be cold, since the paint need to be warm to flow and get that nice finish.

Well thats a problem lol because its really cold right now and i cant really wait. I could paint in the basement but i dont want dust in the paint.

Yeah lol, well you could "get dust in it", then rub it down or wet sand it then do clear coats.

Yea im going to clear coat it. but 141 days is a long time but when your painting and you need to put the whole tractor together it isnt alot of time.

Ok so i bought some engine paint its semi gloss. And im cleaning the block with kerosene. And when im done that i can start painting the engine. And once that drys i can paint the other pieces Like the flywheel,starter,engine shroud.
