I just bought a 1987 Dyamark 12hp but it has a 2006 12hp briggs motor and I was woundering if any one had the carb settings just for it right before I hit the trail. Thanks

Is it the OHV version is it an L head, I would say go for the 1 and 1/2 turns out, any way I though they stopped making adjustable carbs after 2005 due to environmental laws...

If you want total adjustment and can do some fabricating, go with a motorcycle, scooter or snowmobile type carb. Those will give you more power and crisper acceleration.

I was at a flea market and picked up a couple scooter carbs for $15 each - one of these days i plan on adapting them to a couple 14.5 OHV motors or onto my 18.5HP twin- not sure yet.
