Murray/ Lawn Machine Project

I have my old Murray and bought a new Lawn Machine, MTD. Gonna be putting the both of them into one whole tractor. Murray needs a rearend and the Lawn Machine needs a hood and motor. So im gonna try to make this happen. Gonna be a fun build.

Pulled out the transaxle today. The bad part about it. The pulley is splined. Kinda sux. Got my wheels from my Murray on there. Got some done today. Even though I was sick.

Probably late but whatever.

When I swapped my FNR transaxle I just flattened one side of the input shaft and tightened up the set screw on the new pulley. Worked like a champ.

Just cut the hub out of the middle of the origonal pully and weld it to a weldable pulley

Sounds like me when i broke the hood on my murray- i took an old MTD hood and put it on - actually it looked almost normal after some trimming on the dash.

Got alot done with my project, haven't posted any videos cause my computer is screwed up so I might be getting a new one, I'll post videos then.

I haven't updated this in so long, but I can't make videos my phone picture button went out. I have cut out the old jackshaft clutch cause it was a mtd and put 1 inch square above the transaxle to space it away from the chassis. Relocated the clutch and put custom pulley on it. Now running a continue belt through it. Motor is my DRC 16Hp Opposed Twin. Did more work on the engine. Cut the intake out more and polished it. Checked everything. That's what latest on this build
