murray lawnchief RER restoration

i finally got my lawnchief running and now im aiming to restore it. some things to do are-

re-paint chassis red, body black
find matching tires (it has three different tread patterns right now)
clean the engine, tranny, and re-pack bearings
wire up a toggle start
try to fix up a foot throttle.
give me all your thoughts, hints, and advice!!!!!
