if its geared, most likely the key broke, if its hydro belt, it could be either the key broke, or the thing is burned up, or its been disengaged, they have a little lever/rod on the back that disengages the motors, could be disengaged and the lever unhooked, if its shaft drive and it aint mving but the shaft it hooked up, it could be disengaged or burned up
Thanks man! Used that to get the part number and even found a dealer near me that had it in stock! It's almost twice the cost of having it shipped fra the US, but now I can hopefully get it running tonight
Hoping this will be a great evening!!

No problemo, it's still being processed tho (hate that)
I know.. Sometimes the processing takes a few seconds, other times it seems to take ages..

Hey and sorry for the thread hijack.
I've got a similar tractor(Ariens rm828) It will start, but only by recoil. I've been checking the wires and trying to troubleshoot and there is no wire going from the solenoid to starter, and I can't even find the starter. Is it hidden by the engine block? Anyone got any pics?
