| I've been on this forum for awhile it seems, I usually don't post on my own, I generally just run on ramblings. Lately though, I've been building up my Widebody dubbed "Hades" when it use to have dual straight pipe out to the real axle, then a foot past that. History of this thing is, It used the a good 'ole Vtwin , but I totaled it blowing rods out of the thing. I do mean TOTALLY out the thing (the Twin is gone, and the mower no longer has the pipes). I've blown apart one trans-axle on this thing and I swapped in parts from a 6-speed trans-axle (used to have a 5). This mower is NOT a mudder, like most of the other machines on here. This is PRIMARILY used for trail riding in a dry wooded area. And well, who doesn't like a nice mower to plow around the yard in?
Modifications include -12 HP Flathead -1:1 Pulley ratio, (5:5) -6 speed trans-axle -Built in Idler -Bigger, wider tires (20x10x8) (turf savers) -Rear rack (not currently installed) -Automotive automatic transmission fluid in trans-axle -Fully synthetic motor oil -Heavy duty starter -rewired for a toggle switch
Other than the upgrades shown, what are some good modifications for this thing? The profile picture is the one I am speaking up, more pictures to come once I get REALLY modifying this thing.

| Sounds cool, although i'm curious as to why you used automatic transmission fluid in the transaxle? | |

Good eye- I'd missed that. I would have been more inclined to use gear oil, myself. What's the reasoning?
