Well I broke the steering on my mini gt by turning the wheel.. The old gear was junk anyway and slipped..
Heres how its set up..

my current idea is to swap the spindles out of a HD newer mtd like the pony had, and swap the steering shaft, make carriers and utilize the mtd gear reduction setup.. What do yall think?

That's bizzarre, man! Yeah- You're definitely better off swapping the whole thing out at this point.
