My '83 Murray Mudder

Engine: 344cc Briggs Intek OHV
Trans: Peerless 5 speed, not sure of the model
Mods: Taller tires for more ground clearance, slightly pulley swapped, straight pipe exhaust, slotted brake disc welded to the original trans brake with go kart caliper, completely re-wired, LED tail lights.

Welcome to the forum! My group used to run a Murray pretty close to that one.... those frames are practically indestructible!

Thanks everyone. i actually saw this sitting in some guys yard and asked about it. i ended up getting it for free. my plans for it are far from done, but for what it is now it does pretty well.

I like the Murray! I think we're all far from being "done" with these tractors. The journey is half the fun though. Keep posting updates as you go. And welcome to the forum!

Awesome little trackta! Have you done a pulley swap yet? I love the tail lights. I'm planning on doing the same to my murray. You might want to look at your wiring though. Looks like the wires are a little close to the rear tires!    

Love the murray front ends they just look angry makes for a pretty b/a custom when they are done

Thanks I do plan to tuck those wires and its got a 5 or 5.5 inch pulley on the back idk what the front one is but its slightly bigger than stock. I would say it can do 8-10 mph. im also going to put a 1 inch lift on it so itll be out of use for awhile.
