would it matter if I put my 26x12x12 ags on a 12x8 or 12x9 rim with tubes? These tires are REALLY old and hard!

i'm assuming you mean putting a 12in inner diameter tire thats also 12in wide, on a 12in diameter x 8in wide rim? If so, yes its possible, but if the tires are old and hard, i'd pay someone to do it at the tire shop, because its a pain in the arse.. plus they could crack and be really useless..
