Where/how do you find a different diameter pulley that will fit your make and model mower. I have a Simplicity Regent Model#1693089 and I'd like to put a tad smaller pulley on the rear to gain speed. I'm not looking for a "race speed", I just want it a little faster. The OD is 4.5" and at the bottom of the groove is 3.25" any suggestions would be helpful. Pulleyswap? 2429134702

You dont need anything application specific. Just measure the shaft diameter on the tranny. It is usually 5/8". Then select an appropriate pulley from a hardware store.

Thanks for the info. that makes sense. I'm going to try larger tires first.

as we said in chat, pullyswapping a hydro is not a good idea... you'll burn the pump up
