| I would buy it for that it looks solid, and it looks like a gt being that it has 12" rear rims and 8" fronts | |

| Alright, i'm gonna save my craftsman's transaxle, carb and wheels. I'll scrap the rest, as the motor is junk and the frame has started to rust. With the money from scrap hopefully I can buy that tractor with that money. | |

You won't get 100 dollars scrap value ouf of a lawn tractor. Not even if you left it intact, and drove it in with a full tank of gas and a 100 pounds of lead hidden in the tires.

True. Personally, though, I'd just keep the old one. In my experience, the minute you scrap that thing out, you are going to discover it had the perfect bracket on it for some project you want to do on the new one. Or something similar happens. It's always good to have backup stuff!

Again, true. I would be surprised if you got as much as 15 dollars. You can spend that much on a bracket, or a hand full of hardware, easily. Whereas, keeping it means you have multiples of that, in 'free' parts and hardware.

| Id buy the engine off from you if you were closer since I have two that I could use apre on-hand parts for.
But yea, thats a good deal. I paid $74 for a ? running 16hp opposed. + gas it came out to over $100 and it needs a new starter. Hop on it brah, VT tractors are hard to find cheap. No kidding, people want more than $100 for an old not running tractor, sometimes w/o an engine! The only problem is getting my dad to drive an hour away to pick this thing up, he tries to tell me I am wasting my money with this tractor stuff. He doesn't understand lol.
