| Just picked this ole gal up the other day. Shes an 85 and is very rough around the edges with 220,000 miles of Idaho farm life, but the thing is virtually rust free. She needs just about everything looked at, but still manged to run and sort of drive so I have a good start. For those of you who do not know subaru, this thing is primarily front wheel drive, with selectable 4wheel drive, with low range. Not entirely sure what I plan to do at this point but if I can work most of the little bugs out ill probably build just some bumpers, install a small front winch, and a set of 195-75-14 mud tires for now. | |

| No not that extreme I don't think.
unless it ends up needing alot more than I think.
If that's the case I may go crazy | |

| its just what Offroadohio does. he buys cool stuff, makes up a really cool plan, works on that plan for a couple weeks, then sells the project for a small profit. rinse and repeat. He is unable to take on a long term project, he looses interest and sells. the Sears is the only vehicle Ive ever seen him get attached to | |

| I bought this 82 Dodge rampage for $400. Was in pretty rough shape. Floors were badly patched by the the kid I bought it from and the sub frame was rusted out. Couple spots in the right rear body I replaced. I just kinda did a hack job restoration. Worked out pretty good. Looked like the brat was almost in the same shape or better than this when I started. I didn't realize those brats were 4wd. Rampage front wheel drive only. Wonder if the brat bed was even shorter than this one or if they're about the same. Thing this is like 5' 4" maybe a bit less. | |
