Got the SPICER SWAP FINISHED!
Extended the shifter arm cuz the MST had the long shifter
Swapped the Rime & tires that came with the Widebody on it cuz they're almost new & clear the deck & bagger without problems
Shifting system
&
Spicer fits pretty well
Took that POS Mower to a test ride & its a bit slower than with the MST, but all in all it works fine...
Got parts from part 1 of my Trade so I guess MTD will leave me soon! I'm happy when its gone cuz I had my fun with it but rn I'm sick & tired of it & just want it gone!

So did you tap the input shaft?

No, there was that bolt holding the stock pulley down, & it came me pretty handy since I had to make a 1/2" spacer for the pulley to go higher, & since the Shaft wasnt long enough to make a snapring work I just extended the keyway, smashed a bolt I filed to keystock in, & tightened the bolt down! Took that botch to a 30min test drive, & it even held up the hispeed downhill & the transaxle raping experiments I did cuz I only want something thats reliable to my bud!

Huh, that's weird. The last transaxle I would expect to have a threaded input is a spicer. I've heard that some rare Peerless transaxles do, like some 930s did on occasion, but I never would have thought a spicer.

Wasted the whole afternoon for the MTD
Swapped the Tires for 15x6x6 Turfs
Swapped the Muffler outta the Cooper POS Mower in MTD
The new Front Tires look good even if they're 20 years old... (came off the Gutbrod AWS)
Fixed the LEDs (the ground wire ripped off the frame)
Test ran the Briggs & discovered that this Muffler sounds extremely horrible, so I might make something different, since this damn crapmuffler also blocks the access to the front axle where I need to mount the plow But the Glasspack is too loud for the next Owner... when he is mowing tall grass the engine sounds too nice for the neighborhoods ears.
Swapped the Engine back to Stock (stock Shroud & Stock Air Filter)

Starting the final work on the MTD! Pressure washed it & threw the deck back on. Also discovered the Muffler I swapped in was rusted out & hit the mounts for the plow so I scrapped it!
As U can see the holes R too wide & the plow would have a sloppy fit....
Just welded Washers on top to fix that..... Hope it will hold up!
Still need a new Battery I wont buy since the new Owner is buying 1, I need a new Exhaust, & a few reinforcements for the front axle so the snow plowing work wont bend the frame & a bit more crap!

Muffled MTD with a Stock Exhaust off a Murray!
I guess MTD will leave me tomorrow cuz I get the 2nd Part of my Trade & he needs MTD cuz the grass is growing!
