Swapping a transaxle?

Hey guys, my murray has a 800 series transaxle. Not locked i wanted to put my foote tranny in it (also 5 spd) but it doesnt line up with bolt holes in frame? Could i weld brackets or no?

Yes. Just make sure that when you drill new holes in the brackets that the rear doesnt "dogleg".

Yeah you can on new brackets.

Just make sure the pulley is still in the same plane as the old one. Otherwise, your belt will constantly walk right off the pulley.
