I have a 1998 snapper with a briggs 16.5 v twin over head valve mods are: Mikuni gold carb, custom snorkel, smaller gas tank, lots of weight loss; no rear fender, hood, or blades. What can i do to make it lighter?

Lighter? That's a new request. You could try cutting out pieces of the frame that arent needed. Also, where ya from in MN?

Build an all aluminum frame - delete the steel rims for some aluminum ones - dimple dies are a good investment.

When you can't get it any lighter then its time to increase HP.

Remove the deck hangar hardware if you havent already. Anything dealing with the deck can go if its not in use.

Don't sit on it, this could potentially drop 50lb------600lbs from the mower itself. On a more serious note, perforate and unnecessary structural plates, also aluminum plate parts as well.
