i have a spicer 6 speed and i lost every gear but 6th. any ideas on what happened? what broke and how to fix it?

Are you sure you shifter linkage didnt come appart?

you might have metal chunks flying around in there, id crack that thing open asap. And if you haven't before if you do crack it open its a good excuse to service the axle.

the linkage was well connected cause it happened while riding in the field by my house and I have never cracked it open, I picked up another transaxle from a buddy, same one, id really like to fix it because the shifter linkage actually connects to that one unlike my new one Crying or Very sad hand shifting is rough Crying or Very sad

Open it up and take some pictures, these trannys are simple, it will be easy to see whats wrong
