I took apart the tranny from my craftsman today. When i was cleaning the old grease out i found a (wat seems to look like) bearinf ball. I remembered on lynolsoffice on youtube said that there was a ball and spring for the gear shifter but i found no spring.

The spring may have got caught up under that alan bolt I told you about on youtube. It could still be in the shaft. Have a look there. It's next to the shifter that goes into the case.

thanks man, Il look when i come home. I got school today ut its a 1 hour early dismisal so il have time to work on my redneck lawn chair and finish the tranny Very Happy
