Like a Star @ heaven ive seen ppl using acronyms like RER when refuring to chassies. Can anyone explain? Are they like vehicle types (RR=rear engine/rear wheel drive)?

To add to this:

FER= front engine rider
LT= Lawn tractor
YT= Yard tractor
GT= Garden tractor

Thanks guys. I got a Montgomery Ward, a tradesman, and a troybuilt (all mtd) and couldnt agree more. All have vari drive that ive gutted. All but the troy have that crappy steering setup. All have frames that gotta be reinforced for serious offroadin and the transaxles look a lil weak aside from my tradesmans two speed, 1" shaft. But. I do like the way all electrical is already up high and the room underneath for running belts is nice. The best part, the troy had a 1cylinder 18hp briggs (gone now) and the other two came with briggs opposed twins. Not to mention ppl cant give these piles away fast enough! Lol
