When i press my push button to start the engine, the gear just spends doesn't go up to start the engine! How do I fix this??? Btw its 23 hp Kohler pro vtwin

work the bendix free with some pliers or something, apply some WD40 to help out, and after its free, lube the shaft with some white lith grease. also make sure the battery is full. it has to turn a certain speed for the bendix to engage
