hey guys i need help i am makeing a like battery charger with a old 3.5 briggs flat head engine and a starter genarator off of a old lawn tractor i have the regulator hooked up but i cant seem to get voltage comeing out of it does it need a battery hooked to the regulator to make voltage is it like electro magnets ? plz any info will help at this point
