Yeah thats all that matters as long as it holds during a roll over.

| A few notes on roll cages and safety-
Make sure your cage is dead solid and your welds are structural. Having a cage break up in the event of a rollover can hurt you a lot worse than just having the tractor land on you. Something about being impaled just kinda buggers up your day. It's really a good idea to triangulate the cage. Look at how roll cages are professionally built. Between every 90* angle, there's another bit of tube to create a triangle. Triangles are infinitely stronger and more structurally stable than squares. Bottom line- "Good enough" is not good enough. Another thing you'll want to consider-
Restraints. You will notice that every professionally built (production or race) vehicle follows the same pattern- no cage, no restraint. cage, restraint. Open tractors, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATV's, argos, whetever- if it has an open top, there's no seatbelt or harness. Now look at closed vehicles- cars, trucks, race vehicles, buggies- anything with a structural roof or roll bars or cage comes equipped with a restraint system... Why?
In the event of a rollover, on an open vehicle there's a very good chance of being thrown clear, greatly reducing the odds of being crushed by the machine. Picture rolling an ATV with a seatbelt- guaranteed hospital stay. On the other end of a spectrum, picture a sand rail with a cage. Going over without a seatbelt means 2 things- you're going to be battered by the bars, AND that machine is guaranteed to land on you. If you are securely strapped in, no problem. But what if part of your body goes outside the cage? Broken bones for sure. Rolling can be pretty violent- if your torso goes partway out the cage and the beast lands on you, you're going to have a bad day...
Bottom line- Make sure your cage is solid, and install a harness to protect you from the harm that you're potentially creating!

| Yeah i see what your saying and all of my welds are desint. And so far it seems to be strong i can shake the whole mower around without any parts of the cage movin and it has no gussets in it yet so it will be stronger when i gusset it up. Also i will be fabing up a new seat with a full harness. | |

| Looks like those side rails come awfully close to the "inner" rims!
That's turning into quite the tank!

| With all that framing you're adding, surely to god you can find a slick way to relocate your fuel tank and lower the seat.
Also, I suggest finding a way to brace those exhaust pipes up before the vibrations and shocks get to them and end up cracking your cylinder heads...
