ive been trying to post a picture but I think its up . in the photo youll see how im running it now but I need a more secure way of attaching it to the plastic part in the picture

Feed the cable threw the hole (you may need to drill it out) and then crimp the tail of the cable to the rest of the cable (as tight as you can get it around the plastic piece). The little metal end piece on the outer sleeve of the cable need to be in the clamp.

The way I have mine held together is using a cable crimp, the U type with the nuts so I can adjust the slack. Less than $0.50 at Ace.
