Ive been working on a mud bog mower for competition. Its been a slow build but its starting to take shape. So far the rear end has been rebuilt and posi locked with ATV tires, new bigger front tires with sealed bearings, lots of body work (used to be set up for derby), modified 11hp Briggs, custom drag pipe, custom tilt hood thats also a lift off and much more to come. Here are some pics and videos.
How it looked when I first got it, minus the hood. Parts donor Got rid of the leg guards and mocking up the hood. Ripped the rear end out and started the rebuild and locker. Its a 5 speed Spicer BTW Mounting up the new ATV tires. New dash. Mount the engine. Started the drag pipe. New bigger front tires and sealed bearings. Hoods all mounted and started paint. Finished the drag pipe.

Excellent work there I love taking the smaller mower chassis and making them beefier and whatnot
Keep it up!

That's nice looking man pretty cool. But I have one question how big are those tires because I have a ayp Craftsman frame like that and want to know how big of tires it can take before they hit the fenders. Also you should put a gas pedal on it.

They are 22x11x8. I still have room for a bigger tire. You can put bigger tires on by pulling or cutting the fenders. I got lucky and didnt have to do any thing to them. Yea Im still working on a gas pedal, just havent got to it yet.

Just made a snorkel for it. It turned out great. I still have to finish the edge of the hole in the hood but is all hooked up and ready for some deep mud/water.

Thanks
I finished and painted the hood and the rims. I even took it out for a quick romp and did some donuts.
I think I even found it a name that is fitting. THE JUGGERNAUT. Here a photoshop of the name on it.

Nice job on the snorkel, like the use of flexible hose to attach it, keeps the stress off the carburetor.

I never would have thought to use one of the old switches to make a safety tether!
Really digging your project bud, great work so far!

Thanks yall
I hope the rear tire hook up too but if not then I have my eye on a set that will.
I got the idea for the safety tether from a friend.
On the battery, thats one of the new slim Optimas. It fits much better then a regular car battery and its almost the same size as a mower battery. I also use it on my derby mower. Not to mention im sponsored by Auto Zone and get my batterys cheap, I only gave $40 for that one.

Oh thats cool, being sponsored... around here, if we asked to be sponsored for anything but auto racing we'd be laughed at and told to get the F out lol
