| So I just got this junk Scott's mower and it has a huge forged cast iron front axle so I'm swapping that into my widebody cause it has a stamped axle. But this is pretty much a bolt in swap it already has heavy duty double steering which will bolt right up. | |

| You won't be breaking THAT anytime soon!
What model transaxle on the Scott's? Maybe worth swapping in?

| I like it, replace before something breaks. The stock axle wont be very strong with bigger tires, this thing is a monster. How big of spindles? | |

JD did make some of the scotts, but in scotts final years they where made by Murray to cut cost. Our scotts is a JD and the front axle is way different than that one you got there. good idea!
