| So-sence summer its been a kinda hot topic; Mini mowers/tractors. Most people (including myself) like them, why? Becuse there well-small. Almost goofy small. The frame on my mini mower is 13 1/2" at the chassis main rails, and 38" long. when i got mine home i sat on it and thought how dumb it would be to acually mow your lawn with it! Its smaller than a shopping cart!
So What QUALLIFYS as a mini tractor? A certain length? I think most were make from the same company, they all shared the same frame type.
So what do you guys think?

| I had a mustang one, cranked it up to 15mph, with a push mower engine. Single speed FNR, but swapped it for a 5 speed transaxle. Scrapped it years ago...
One's I have seen are similar, two c channels for frame, vertical 5hp engine, one speed tranny, single blade deck.

| The commonalities that seem to present themselves to me are: *Small (5hp or less?) pull start engine *Single blade deck *Vintage models usually have solid, non air-filled tires *I have seen several online with pan chassis' that fit all the above criteria | |
