im having a hard time finding ANYTHING close to 1.175 let alone 1.173. it would have to be a special machine shop to make something for me. imma bite the bullet and buy a input collar online.

I ended up taking a steel shaft lock collar (1 1/8" IIRC) and using a Dremel to hog it out a bit to fit the input shaft casting. NOTE: I believe the casting is tapered- keep that in mind before making/ordering anything.

Yea it's slighty tapered, but it was less tapered than i first thought. Maybe it's not the same on all 700? anyway just use the closest you find, then file the rest.
