| Ok so this is my 1989 cr125r.   " />600 bucks we paid and 18 days in, engine locked up :smash:started tearing it down today with my dad and i ran into a cigrit, one of the jug nuts is starting to strip. and i got no idea what to do now. i need help to solve this soon before i say screw it lol Thanks

| Its enclosed by about 60 percentby the engine, i can only get a wrench for what probly should be a socket job, i got the other 3 loose but this ones being an ass | |

| cant use sockets for it the way it sits on the engine  but im gonna see again just to be sure lol | |

Its absolutely fine man, good job not stripping it out, i think i know what you mean by you cant get a socket on it. Maybe the link will help other people out that didnt know those extractor sockets existed. | |

| Ok now that i got that figured out, now onto the real problem. The motor was "frozen" so i thought BUT after about 8 hrs of teardown and trial and error, ive concluded that the piston is nut stuck it is the kicker that is messed up. You cant kick the kick start, but i opened up the head and did some magic and the piston moves SO im assuming it has to deal with that setup. I have no idea what im doing so if anybody has 2 stroke dirt bike experiance mechanically, i need to talk to you ASAP! | |
