| i took an old shitty mower through a pond last spring, the water was 3-4 feet deep, the intake was 2 1/2 - 3 feet off the ground i coulda swore i broke something when it stopped but i didnt, i had to get another tractor to pull it out but all i had to do was pull the plug and spin all the water out, i dont know how i didnt get any water in the gas because it sat under water for probably 15 minutes while i went to get the other tractor | |

| id say lol i had to take the liners outta my boots my socks off and pull my pants up as high as i could to walk out because it was almost 3 feet right there and like 15 to either side of the pond and this was a pond of water from the snow so it was VERY cold | |

| I dont mind getting muddy- getting wet is another deal entirely . When i had my agway out for the last time back north last summer - the water was just over the footrests - the problem was the 4" of soft muck soil under the 11/2' to 2 ' of water and stock tires - and lots of snakes n snapping turtles in that swamp - needless to say i didnt feel like getting bit by one tromping thru water getting the tractor out if it got stuck. Bad enough i got zapped with poison ivy that time- i hate that crap.
I was tempted to go on the other side of the road where a drainage ditch had like a good 3' of water - but settled for the swamp instead. | |
