So what do you think of THIS

So, Ive been doin some research bout trucks and such, and I came across military surplus trucks....particularly the M35 A2 (or A3 variant which is newer)...Now this wouldnt be a daily driver but its multifuel, about 3-4k running, and holds its own against two ford 350's yet only like 130 HP.  Its also 6x6 fully lockable.  So before I run around like crazy and dig deeper for one what do yall think?  And no you do not need a cdl thought it weighs around 7 tons UNLOADED.  So yeah what do yall think?

now in the last image it says that "luckily my buddys deuce and a half wa there to pull me out" now 4k for a stock amazing truck dosent sound bad to me, considering just suspension on some trucks can cost around a grand

Stretch owns a Deuce with a crane. He had a normal cargo bed too but just sold it to Moose. Id love to have one just to have one.

Yep, I've got one.  Moose has the cargo one I sold.  Go to steelsoldiers.com to ask questions.   3-4k is the old price, they are going 7k and up for a nice one.  Ugly and running 4-5k. One you have pic of would be 8k at least.

Options like heater, hardtop, air shift transfer, troop seats, cover, winch, drop side bed, turbo(not all have turbos), etc affect value.

i want the m55 a2 c mainly becuse of the wisler turbo, but im my mind the c and d are the best, least headgasket ishues and they have the 5 speed.

if you want to look for them they sometimes apper on this assome site, (my frend resently bought a hummve off of here)

Ah thanks a bunch guys! Ill check em out. I'll build anythign from scratch I was looking for 3-5k range and have found some online but not in person. Heaters hard tops ect. Ill just build it
