Transaxle seems stuck closed...

I'm currently setting up to do a lock on the Transaxle, the regular Fearless lock. I went ahead drained the oil, removed the bolts, and propped it up. Then I tapped the case a few times and it wouldn't budge. Took a screwdriver to the seam and knocked it a few times, all it did was put dents in the case. Any advice for opening it up?

Thin metal putty knife. The silicone gasket maker used to seal em up is likely what is sticking it together

Could be that pesky bolt in the center of the case. Easy not to see it because it is countersunk in the case.

Ah yes, it may be under the pulley (looking at it from the top) or it could be coming up from the bottom. Those middle bolts are easy to miss.

Definitely look for the bolt(s) on the other side in close to the center depending on trans-axle. Also, I had to use a metal putty knife and hammer to get mine open.
