| I have toro rear engine ride(serial# is 56125 if you want to look it up) i believe it has an 8hp (not the stock engine it is what was on it when i got it) and a peerless gear box. I like to get it to do about 50mph without spending a lot of money. Any suggestions? This isn't mine but it the close on i found I put bigger tires on the back of mine and removed the deck | |

| I'm not the techie one here, but I will help keep your question rolling. I don't know that you can get it to 50, but who knows with some aggressive pulley swaps and not sure that has the sprockets for the rear drive. Also, how is this thing going to handle once you get past 20-30? Tires going to wobble or shake the mower? I understand the need for speed, but also a level of safety needs to be involved when going faster. Heck, Doc's weasel doesn't quite make 50.  | |
