| Ok so just bough a 95'yard pro 20hp. I am super stoked because it's got the beefed up 633a. It was missing the 20hp Kohler magnum 20hp so I got it cheap. The 633a that was in it had blown the first and reverse gear out. Probably some idiot that didn't know how to drive. And since those perticular gears are about as easy to find as dinosaur bones I bought a mother transaxle. It now runs strong with my 16.5 pressure lube oppie. Any ways enough rambling here it is | |

| The hood on that thing looks humongous! So this machine has the belt twist and a pan frame. Nice job sourcing some used parts. so what are your plans for the machine? | |

| Thinking about making it a utility trail machine as well as a mudder. The main thing is having everything you need on one tractor. | |

| That’s really hard to have it all in one rig but I think you can meet all of your needs in one. | |

| I'm assuming they're made but AYP, same frames as the GT 6000 Craftsman's.
Neat looking tires! What brand and model are they? They sorta look like mini rock crawler tires

| Update! Ok so I just bought a predator 301cc and due to the chassis being assembled for the vertical kohler that was on it the clutch puts the belt right in the way of the deck raise lever. I mention this because on these ayp GTs the steering box is cut out around it. Would it be ok if I cut out the lever assembly? I have a welder and angle iron to support the steering box if needed. | |

| Without seeing a picture it's hard to say for certain. I think you're saying that the deck raise assembly somehow supports the steering box? We here at ATLTF to fully endorse cutting things, modifying them, and reinforcing with angle iron however. | |

| my guess is about 10 miles an hour. I need to know the gear ratio in the trans in high gear and I can run the math for you. | |

The 301 is actually 8 HP, not 10. Predators are nice engines though, she'll last you a good long while! I'm guessing, that with a 1-1, and an 8 hp single, probably about 12, because a single cyl small engine won't be able to turn at much more than 3000 RPM or so with those tires and a 1-1 ratio. | |
