| I assume you are reffering to the Tuff Torq hydrostatic drive transaxles, and if so this post should've been made in the "Transaxles and Transmissions" section...
Anyways, to answer your question would require more information. What kind of tractor build? What all do you plan to be doing with it? What kinda of tires planned? Etc.

| Hmmm, that sounds like quite a power plant. Is is a vertical shaft lawn tractor transmission? If so you'd be probably be better off trying to use an old garden tractor transaxle with a horizontal pinion shaft.
Trying to use an old Cub Cadet transaxle would be really neat and one of those would hold up without question. | I really don't think a tuff torq unit will handle all that power. I have one in my JD LT160 and it's really only meant for a low speed light duty lawn mower. I tried a mild pulley swap on it and it overheated after prolonged use. | |

| I very highly doubt an MST 205 would hold up with that engine. This is definitely a job for an old garden tractor transaxle. | Cub cadet would hold up, and is also shaft driven so the drivetrain layout would be really easy to put together. They’re out there, just gotta pay to play | |
