hey guys redzz02 here and 2018 Top Tractor Challenge was a flop and ended up not happening as a group event and ended up doing a dry run with just us locals and i think their is a lot of potential for a good event. so here it is, 2019 is a go!
ABOUT? This is going to be a competition, similar to the FourWheeler magazines Top Truck Challenge, each event is going to designed to be very technical and difficult to test the driver and mowchine! unfortunately space is limited, BUT i will not disappoint! events will consist of a rock crawl, mud bog, obstacle course, and more! the event will be filmed and posted on my youtube channel (redzz02) as a series for everyone to watch the action. each event will be timed and points will be tallied up, in the end the person with the highest points will win a trophy and possible prizes for the top placers and of coarse bragging rights. along with the competition well have a cook out, also possible bonfire in the evening. this wont be cut throat competition but a friendly get together to enjoy mowers, swap parts, stories, and ultimately to have a good time! at this moment that is all it is going to be, i am going to talk to land owners and see if we can turn this into a competition and a ride but im not promising anything.
WHEN? Saturday and Sunday August 17th and 18th drivers meeting at 9AM competition starts at 9:30-10AM Sunday will be a day to finish the competition if necessary or to ride if we get permission
WHERE? Pymatuning, Pennsylvania (exact address will be given to the ones attending)
WHO? 18+ year old event, due to space we will loosely cap this at 20 mowers +/-
WARNINGS! THE MUD WILL BE DEEP the mud pit is going to be deep along with any water or mud holes in any other event may be deeper than usual. and if we get permission to ride the trails have deep mud holes but can be oppted to go around , The Rocks will be Big, The obstacles will be difficult, steep, off camber and will test you in every aspect. This is a one attempt event, if your rig breaks or you go out of bounds, or have a miss hap you WILL NOT be able to restart for points (you're more than welcome to re tackle any obstacles after the competition is over)
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS? unfortunately my property is small and our septic can not handle large amounts of people very well so i will only be able to house a few if you would want to pitch a tent in the yard, there are a few camp grounds with in 20 minute drive time from my place, along with some smaller hotels i know theirs a few in Conneaut and Greenville
SUGGESTIONS (suggested but not needed) Locker, working brakes, aggressive drive tires, winch,
REQUIREMENTS 18+ years old, Easily accessible tow points front and rear, must have an operational kill switch, an attitude to have a good time
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns let me know. if you would like to pitch a tent also get hold of me, if you would like to attend post a picture of your mowchine and let me know that you would like to attend. you can respond to this post, personal message me, or reach me on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Espyvillemudders/
FURTHER COMMENTS: i was thinking of a possible buy in? that way i can make up some event specific t shirts for everyone. also i will look into renting a portapoty that way everyone doesn't have to pee in the woods lol, any ladies attending will be allowed to use the bathrooms in the house.
here are some the videos of last years dry run, the obstacles will be different along with new ones this year. this is just to give you an idea on what it will be like

Redzz02- I'll chip in some money to help this event out if u want, so get a hold of me.
To everybody else- I'm roughly 45 minutes away from the location of this. I have some yard space for tents and fairly easy trailer parking, so pm me on here. But don't hold me to this because the wife still has to agree to this.

I'd like to pitch a tent in your yard, and I don't have a problem with a $20-$40 buy in to help with event costs. It sounds like fun and will be worth it.
BTW I would have a lawyer draw up a basic waiver of liability form that every participant has to sign.

@Muddstir I appreciate the offer to help, I will talk to you
@Crazy_carl yeah I was going to just get a basic form offline for everyone to sign, that's the main reason I'd like to keep it 18+ on the participants, make it a little easier
@TheRainbowBoxer we would love to have you!, although the mowers might not like the obstacles that much, but you guys are skilled enough I think you could make it work

Awesome Doug, I’m hopefully getting a large load of concrete chunks this weekend, going to go down to hermitage this weekend with my trailer and a dump trailer and hopefully be able to load them

Maybe I'll finally break some parts! Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to knock out some of the carb swap job on the simplicity so I'm ready to roll.
Redzz02 - I do have a pile of stones that I was gathering up to see if they would work for you. Was just waiting on the parents to go through them to see which ones they wanted for in their landscaping.

@muddstir thank you sir I’ll take whatever they don’t want but these ones are large chunks of concrete that I have some good plans for if I can get them home, might have to rent a skid loader for the day I’m really iffy if my little loader will move any of them
