This is my John Deere 130 that is stock other than a pulley swap and governor removal. It has a Kawasaki single and a peerless 800. I would like to lower it with a custom built front end, with live axle and hopefully slicks all around. The power source will be a Briggs horizontal with a torque converter. My goal is to reach a minimum of 50 mph.

Many things are happening, whole drive system is removed, custom built front spindles, and front axle is in! Also, painted the floor pan with bed liner, really digging the look and texture.

Haven't done an update in a few weeks, frame has been stripped completely and has been painted in a gloss black, mounted pillow bearings and got axle parts in(brakes, sprocket, axle). Steering is put together with aluminum tie rods from a polaris indy sled. Bought a hydraulic brake kit and made a bracket to be hooked up to the stock brake pedal. The build is coming along EXTREMELY well.

Little update, rims are on order and engine mockup begins! I purchased rear hubs and tires and all 4 rims. I’m using an intek Briggs that I’m slowly building into an animal. I had to buy proper springs for the springer spindles because the ones I originally had were too weak. a

Many changes have been made to the Deere, I swapped the Briggs out for a 212 because it had a rod knock and was smoking and fouling plugs, I also mounted the hood, and put a hater pipe out the side of the hood, I took the torque converter off and put on a clutch with a slightly bigger rear sprocket, the engine is going to get built later, as of now with the clutch I hit 50!
