2021
Thank you for those that voted in our poll for a 2021 Build-Off. Due to the small number of votes and only a 2/3 majority of "YES" votes. I think we will forgo having a 2021 build-off. ATLTF has decided this year to concentrate on getting back on the asphalt, dirt, and mud! Look for us to cover:
Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN When: Wednesday June 23rd through Sunday June 27th. What: Offroad rally, talk shop, swap parts, and hang out with some awesome friends. Who: Anybody with (or without) an off-road mower can hang with the Mowercycle Gang at this rally.
Hosted by @redzz02 Look for event details in the upcoming months. Check out the previous year event information -- HERE --.
Hopefully this year will get us over the COVID-19 hump so we can have a better 2022. @Doug and I have been talking about some rule changes for 2022 if we can have a Build-Off. I think it could bring in some newer interest in the competition. We just need to iron out some details to make it fair.
In the mean time, PLEASE be our guest and tell us about your old, current and new All-Terrain tractor projects! I know it's easy to make a FaceBook post about what you are doing. Lets take the time to slow down and let the Forum know what you are doing too! Not all people like/have social media!
Speaking of social media, @craftsmanquad19 has started up a Instagram for ATLTF. Go check that out if you have Instagram!

Welp i guess i'll start. I've been meaning to post this tractor on here since November. This here is a '73 Gilson S-10 workhorse of mine I've been working on. Got it running again and Snowblowing. Shes a tank. The rear tires are loaded down to where there 139lbs each with chains. This spring she will be fully restored with a set of duals and repowered with a 16hp motor.

I’ll most likely continue to collect parts for the OG CraftsmanQuad revival for the ‘22 buildoff. Might even be able to have it haspin ready for ‘22

What if we did something where the idea was to build the best machine you can with only stock parts except tires and a pulley swap for bragging rights? Just a random thought I had.
Edit: While I doubt I could participate, BigPip has a good idea there.

BigPip will not be using very many stock parts 🥺
How many people are planning a build this year? After 2020 I think we all need something positive and fun this year.

I'm still on the fence about a build this year. I've got a JD frame that I'll never use, a few motors and transmissions, a million extra parts, and a $2K welder, so I think I am gonna do a build but I don't know yet.

I might start one, budget and time permitting.. not sure if it would be anything good enough for a hypothetical competition but we’ll see. Also it sounds like you have an interesting machine there in the works, I’m excited to see it.

I live 2 hours from haspin but my grandpa seems interested in going and he has a stock late 90s mtd. I have my mower which will be pully swapped and modded out by then and he said we can rebuild the rear end and weld the diff at his house
