'68 Cub Cadet 125 "Kronos"

Decided to go ahead and start the build thread for the 125 cub we are calling "Kronos" (kinda sticking with the wwhole greek mythology names) This was the very first tractor I got from my father in law and initially I was going to use it for an offroad mower and swap in a geared transaxle but I have decided that it would be a good idea to have a stout utility setup to do work around the house. It is a hydro and has the stock 12hp Kohler k series engine. That being said, I now plan to keep it pretty much stock and use it as it is. As far as i know, it's only missing the starter/generator and a seat but i believe those parts are still out at the in laws. I plan to keep this build simple to start and getting it running is first priority. This will be a back burner build for those days I'm not working on the build off mowers. Should be fairly simple to get any parts I may need because the in law used to build cubs for sled pulling and has cub parts all over his property. It ran less than 3 years ago when it was parked but has been sitting out in the elements uncovered since. It spent many years at the pulling track to level the strip and pull breakdowns off the track.

Oh yea! I watched every video he's made and I talk to him on facebook. He's helped me figure out what I need for my 108 cub. Great guy for sure

Nice tractor, can't beat the narrow frame Cub's! I've got a 106 and 124.
