| ok this is off topic from a mower so thats why its here, this was my other cavalier wagon with the v6 engine, i now have the wagon with the 2.2 l 4cyl engine with 317,000 miles on it. [img] [/img] also the suspension on this is all the way to the bump stops, lol too much for the cavy body but the motor and trans handled it like it was nothing. | |

| i don't have a problem with it, yet anyway, lol, yeah also im getting gaskets and such and a rebuild kit for the carb, cause my engine started to run like crap again so i probably didn't clean the carb all that well, and also it leaks oil on just about every seal, lol, its old, 80's model, forget what year exactly. | |

| Id be afraid to drive a vehicle with 300, 000 miles on it UNLESS its a V8 - supposedly if this new job pans out in june/july - id look for a small eco box sorta cheep- only problem is the cheepies have like 150- 200, 000 miles on em- sorta bothers me because id need it to be totally reliable ( well 90% reliable) since id be driving an hour one way ( 2 hours total = 100 miles a day) . Id rack up too many miles on my truck ( V6 @ 80, 300 miles currently ) and wifes car ( V6 @ 50,800 miles currently) if i didnt get another car.
Be nice to buy a cheeper new car actually- seen a base no frills KIA for like $8000 vs a 200,000 whatever for around $1,700 .
That cavalier reminds me of when i had 20 bags of concrete in the back of my straight 6 '89 f150 and my 255/70/15's summer tires n mags on - had to drive like 30 miles - thing was sitting low and 'waddled' slightly...... my 99 ive had it fully loaded in the back with a cap on, and towed a trailer with 2 lawntractors- actually towed it pretty smooth with a V6 and 4 speed manual. Ill be doing it one more time next week....... | |

| the cavy in the picture is the 6 cyl with only about 165,000 miles and my current car is the 2.2 4cycl with 317,000 and still keeps on trucking away, but i also may if i had to haul the same load in it to, but mostlikely it wouldn't like it at all, considering it has 317k on a 4 cylidner engine. | |
