the engine now runs but i have an eco block with a weedeater bran carb and tank

im doing to have to drop the gearing from a 19t to an 8t b/c the engine cannot turn the wheel

I might get this engine because the engine that I was planing on using is not powerful enough

ok so alot has happened to the motorized bike

made a hub for the sprocket

all i have to do now is make gaurds and do throttle and fuel lines

Im curious as to how your ex-pedal jackshaft works.

If you kep the pedals on, youre only a few lights away from registering it as a moped.

it runs but sadly i will have to quiet it down

it can do burn outs

today i have made a chain tensioner and remounted the sprocket hub

let me know how that goes. i wanted to make one out of my old mountain bike and a honda clone engine

got back to work on it to day

so the rtv has set for a week and here is how it sounds

Smoke is good, its a 2 stroke and yea still to loud. But loud = safe. People hear you coming with noise.

Not like those electric cars and scooters getting popular now, they are lethal.

thanks but my neighbors get mad when it is that loud and i want to drive it to school in the mornings

We made our own mufflers on big RC 2 strokes, General rule of thumb, the diameter of the outlet hole, will be made using say 3/16 drillbit in several holes.

So say its a 20mm hole, then you can block it off and drill 10, 2mm holes. Then it wont destroy the tuned pipe. but give a muffled sound.
