Yeah I know you want that, and that'd be awesome to see. So why all others talking about a roll cage???? It's not the same! bounce

Edit: And that's a kick ass drawing lol

I did think about getting a craftsman frame or something, and getting a twin, and rear end from the junkyard. then I can swap parts from my shitty mtd. mtd gots no frame.

So there's a lot of welding and bending on such a frame, you up for it?

The exocage is a really cool idea. Crawler stuff. front suspension at the very least. To hell with the seatbelt- get a harness.

Bigger and newer drawing. Re-did the design, still some things I don't like but for the most part it looks sick. I think im going for a craftsman lt1000 type frame, and a v twin, or opposed. anything that's 17hp and up in the junkyard ill take. ill see if the frame in the junkyard has a transaxle and what one. I want a 820, but ill have to do some research on what mowers that axle was in. The front end will be indestructible, and following stretches, or rainbows design as far as spindles.

Instead of the hold front part coming off like all of the front tubing I think ill just make the tubes that go over the engine removable. like a hood made out of tubes. id just pull the motor up and out

You could remove 2/3ds of the tubing, Triangulate more, and save a lot of weight and money

Nothing looks cooler than "well built" and sound cooler than hearing "he does good work"

Agreed! No need to have all that steel in there- it can still be insanely strong with much less weight.

Remember you have to build what you draw afterwards.

So you may want interlocking lines (pipes).

So easy base, start, is 4 pipes length wise. The rest should be for strength and support.

More triangles.

I saw a gt1000 frame and 18.5 vtwin in the junkyard, that was the style frame I liked. don't think ill get it tho, might wait for something better.
