Found this link since i'm trying to tap the alternator to get a signal to my Tachometer.

So both the plug and the wires id your charging system, so dont paint them lol

I think you can tap the kill wire for the tach signal.

just use your kill wire. is it an opposed twin or a v-twin? my opposed works fine off of the kill wire.
