i think since your transaxle is side input, a horizontal would be easiest.. just my opinion. i know they do it with verticals but the belt twists, i dont like it.. do what you can afford.. its gonna be badass one way or another

Yup mounting the tires hopefully next week, also more plans are gonna be satin black paint job with a buck skull and American and Rebel flag on the hood airbrushed and custom grille with some kind of car headlights in it also gonna have strobes and underglow all eventually! Definitely go with the kohler, it has way more torque than an opposed or a vtwin, me and fearlessfront were talking and a 11hp kohler from the 1960's has as much torque as my 20hp vtwin, them old kohlers are built way more tough, may have less hp, but torque is not a problem, that's a really good setup too.

Thanks, today went to the county auction and got a possible candidate of a motor for it and also may do hydraulic drive! It is a 22hp Subaru twin.

Didn't get anything done on it this weekend except getting the motor that I haven't youched cause I've been fixing and delivering eguipmemt all weekend but tonight I mocked up this swamp buggy cowl on the front I have mixed feelings on it let me know what y'all think.

no not really feeling it at all. id rather see a pipe bumper with a stinger, and then a skidplate off the bumper to the front axle supports. With that thing it just looks like a random piece hoge pogged together

like red said, i'd rather see something well built.. not a cob job... make it strong so it serves as a bumper too

there is deffinatly potential though, jus needs revision. also, if you were to use that cowling, isnt the exhaust at the bottom of it? or are you moving that?

The exhaust currently would be right in the grille but I'm making twin straight piped stacks
