Did you ever get the motor running? Are you planning on using the hydraulic stuff on here?

I haven't even touched the motor I've been working and not sure in the hydraulics yet...

Decide to not use that cowl and build something else it looked to Jerry rigged to me

Build a custom cowl or just do a monster snorkel/ram intake with a forward facing inlet to force air down the tube?

Id do a forced intake on it honestly. It makes it look powerful. I would put a nice intake to accent he stacks. Kinda like a jeep snorkel where the intake faces forward to force air down the pipe

Well smog pump charger but yea. Lol that would be a beast. I am thinking about doing that on my buggy so if you do it first maybe you can help me. Idk if they make a turbo small enough for mowers?

Ya I was planning on getting one off of a Mercedes diesel and run like 3 psi

Smog pump? Or turbo. Because Idk if a mower has enough power to spool a turbo enough for gains in power

Ok cool. I need to find a small smog pump for that buggy I want to do. Make some serious power with it. Id love to use a 12hp flathead and run a double pulley up top for an alternator and smog pump with a pull start possibly.

Finally got some time and got the beast of a motor running after sitting 7 years some carb clean and a battery and she's purring like a lion! The oil filter is tusted out so I need to get a new one and the carb needs a good cleaning ill do all this once I pull the motor out of that tuna can.

Today I got the motor pulled out and mocked it up some what i definitely need to do sme work on the hood clearence though lol maybe find a bigger hood

Build a cowl induction style hood. Or just be bad ass and run hood-less

Ya I'm gonna try to find the bigger craftsman hood cause I hàve big plans on the paint job and the hood is a key part. Also raising the hood

I wouldnt raise the hood.. nobody likes gaps.. I raised mine.. but pulled it off by filling the gap with 1x1 to start my bumper on..
Like I said.. get some sheet metal.. build a cowl induction hood.. The bigger craftsman hoods aren't that big.... Pony has one.

May have already said it but what you doin for drivetrain? Straight axles right? If so what size for those big ass tires lol
