i think its 1/4 inch keystock, But I may be wrong on that.

Depends on WHERE in/on the unit. Axleshafts use a 3/16" square key. Input shaft uses a Woodruff key, but I forget the dimensions. Looks like a half moon. Does the keyway have a flat bottom, or rounded?

its on the axle itself I bought some small 3/16 keyway today at lowes ill try it out tmrw see if it fits
