The Night Before Christmas (ATLTF Style)

T'was the night before Christmas and all on the 'nets
Folks they thought of the build-off, and placing their bets.
"Who's gonna enter?", "Who's gonna win?"
Getting beat by a paint job's a shame, and a sin.

So the heater's are cranked up, the shop lights a'glowing,
Gotta make you some space, because outside it's snowing.
The plans are are all scribbled on the workbenches with care,
In hopes that parts ordered, soon would be there.

On Thunder! On Richie! On Redline and Moto!
On Kel! MMM! On Stretch and Rainbow!
The anticipation is running on high,
Who knows how it goes? Gotta wait 'till July!

So the hammers will hammer, the wrenches will turn,
The grinders will grind and the welders will burn.
The smoke it will billow, the cameras will roll,
The gears will be turning, t'ward the ultimate goal.

But meantime, it's Christmas- Once dinner is done,
The drinks are all drank and the guests are all gone,
Head out to the shop- no time like today!
(Ugh, Santa.)"Hey fat boy! Get outta the way!!!"

So on with the planning, tape measures and junk,
18 cups of coffee, and Monsters for spunk!
But don't overdo it, you must get some sleep,
Because at first light, there's tradition to keep!

There's gifts to unwrap, the kids made to smile,
Maybe something to add to your growing parts pile!
