I've just started modifying my Craftsman GT18 and i figured this would be the best place for learning some things and sharing some cool ideas.

It's not really a 633a but close enough. Smile

Yeah they carried that hi/low for quite a while.

Yep, it's the AYP version of the 633. Different casting and what not, but quite similar. Same as the one in my GT..

Welcome to the forum! Definitely a good base to start with there, does it have a Briggs opposed in it? Be sure to start a build thread so we can see some progress!

Yeah its got the briggs opposed twin. 18 hp. Valve guide wear and everything lol

I really like this thing, its already a beast. All ive done is the usual. Cleaned carb and gas tank, changed the oil, tuned a couple of things.

Well, actually i forgot to mention i put a 5 inch pulley on the transaxle. And then of course it has a 4.5 inch pulley on the engine.
