I picked up 4 machines off of Facebook Marketplace for 20 bucks yesterday. One of them was this Gt 14. Does anyone know anything about these? Also scored a Jacobsen RER and a Homelite RER. I still have to go pick up the 4th machine as it is buried on the back of the guys property but I think its an old Montgomery Ward or possibly Allis Chalmers. I couldn't get a good look at it.

The Gt 14 has a pretty heavy duty rear end and a varidrive set up as well. It has been pretty modified with a straight pipe wheel spacers and large tractor tires. I think I would like to build a puller out of it or restore it.

That GT 14 is very interesting. haven't seen one myself but i would assume someone on here knows something about it. i'll be watching to see if somebody can shed some light on this, and see what you make of it !

You bought it for a meager price. Best wishes. You can make a nice profit by doing good maintenance.

The gt14 looks like an MTD GT. Varidrive with high and low trans right?
