I have the opportunity to purchase a Sears Suburban 12 917 253060. I can't find any documentation confirming if this tractor has a 633A38 transaxle. Can anyone help confirm?

Yeah it should have 633a variety. 3 hi 3 lo Reverse hi/lo. The specific model should be on a tag that is attached to the transaxle right behind the hitch plate.

Here is where it is on my ST/16 (this doesn't help since you do not have it)

Yeah it has a 633A in it. Not sure of the final 2 digits, but still a 633a.
