| How do I get the pulley off my BnS 11hp engine?
I have made a jig to bolt into the 3 bolt holes and run a smaller bolt with a trapped nut (like a hub puller) but that hasn't worked.
Don't want to heat it because it damages the oil seal.
Any ideas?

| If youre not willing to use heat youll need to cut it. A puller should have taken it off. Heat is your number one friend.
You can also try PBlaster by soaking the top and bottom of the pulley in it for a few days on end, then trying your puller again.
But really you want to use some torches and a puller. ![](https://i.servimg.com/u/f86/19/98/54/71/separa13.png) Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| The trick is to heat the pulley by itself. Avoid heating the shaft. | |

| Is the pulley a dual stacked pulley, upper on drives the gearbox, lower pulley drives the cutting deck?
I just took the nut out from the centre, sprayed a load of WD40 on shaft and pulley, i then just ran the engine for a couple of minute and drove it up and down the road. I just took the belt off and the pulley dropped right out along with key. | |
