Should be a simple, reliable truck. You will have to fix something every year, but it will be easy to fix.
its going to be more than yearly.. its a dodge, remember? LOL.. all joking aside, its a nice truk. hope she treats ya well, Doug

Its an old Dodge, back when they were good lol.
Bought a rolling tool box today. Cheaper than a crossover and i can roll it to a jobsite. Even better, it was half the price. Ill have to get another to split metalwork and carpentry.

8-10? Really? Well thats kinda depressing. lol.
The truck we are getting from my brother is a 70s "m880" 4x4 and thats about the same it gets. Ide love to get one of these trucks, but I would need to do what I can to try to get better gas millage lol.
Ide like to take the full time 4x4 transfer case out, Id like to think a different t case would help... Then Id Ike to do some modifications to the engine, not sure what all yet though. Ide be happy if I could get 15mpg... 18 or so would be great.

love these body styles also love the 2nd gens, i hoping to buy a dodge poweram from my friend chris, it's got the 360 4x4 automatic with a selective t case, he has an extra rebuild 360 to go with it, he was asking a couple hundred, it was fairly straight, i think he said $800?
would prefer a manual, but haven't seen too many of them, 2wd woulda been nice also

Havent updated this in a while.
Did an oil change 700 miles ago, running good so far.
The other week when I was driving to work I noticed my dash was brighter than normal. So somehow, magically, they started working again. Saves me the trouble of wiring in all the damn LED strips.
Before I did my oil change I got my cab lights wired. I just spliced them off my trumpet horn (behind the fuse), to a toggle switch and up.
Trumpet horns are wired. I wanted to have them so they worked off the steering wheel through an ON-OFF-ON switch, but I didnt realize the steering wheel was a ground not a positive. So to save me some headache, I just ran a lead off the battery, to a horn switch (leftover from my tractor rewiring, where i opted for a momentary toggle), then to the compressor.
My passenger mirror is driving me crazy since it doesnt match the drivers side. Might get a new one.
Planning a new fuel filter and new spark plugs this weekend. Hopefully this resolves my occational starting issues and will maybe boost my fuel economy a bit.
Radiator hose came undone today on the drive to work. Lost only about half a gallon of fluid. Got to sit in my truck in mid 20s weather for 15 minutes until my boss and good friend came to rescue me with some coolant.

Been a while since I was in here.
Old glamour shot at work.
Black Friday, got me a steel Delta truck box, brand new, for $100.
First snow we got (beginning of December) I slid off of the road. Clipped a roadsign and lost my passenger mirror and broke the mounts on the taillight. Since replaced the mirror and just used a washer on the screw to hold the taillight on.
Next time I clean the cab ill have to take a new picture.
